• • • • • Over our wedding weekend we stayed at the most beautiful little Airbnb 'The Perfect Hideaway', @casabrava.algarve and it was heaven on our very special planet earth and the perfect example of perfection in living, staying, and how to travel. Marco and Julie moved from Paris to the Algarve after falling in love with it 18 years ago and finally deciding to change their busy city lives for something different. Both are Vegan and extremely eco conscious (they have their own natural soap factory in the Algarve and consult other local businesses on how to operate more sustainably) which is reflected in the calm and serene space they have created out of an old ruin (or pile of stones!) in the Algarvian hills. It is truly remarkable what they have achieved! The most beautiful detais, furniture mostly hand crafted by Marco and sourced by them both at local flea markets before being given their Parisian touch! A delicious vegan breakfast (even for us non vegans!) of pancakes, bread from the market, vegan Nutella and home grown fruits and vegetables after a dip in the natural pool kept us going over the most special weekend of our lives. Thank you Marco and Julie for looking after us and for allowing us to share in the magic you have created at Casa Brava.
